About Us

KIC Leukemia was founded In March of 2008, as a living memorial to Kari Imhoff-Crewe. Kari was diagnosed with leukemia in late February of 2007 and passed away six months later after fighting a heroic battle against this horrible disease.

KIC Leukemia’s goals are simple, and were designed based on ideas and observations provided by Kari during her battle:

  • To Raise awareness of Leukemia’s symptoms and treatments
  • To Raise awareness of the need for potential marrow donors for those fighting leukemia, lymphoma and other life threatening illnesses.
  • To actively recruit new marrow donors to the National Marrow Donor Registry
  • And to provide support to those who are battling leukemia
Our hope is that you will use the information provided on this site as a launching point to take action, to help others who are suffering from this terrible disease. Find out ways you can help right now.
